Travel insurance protection is Strongly Recommended. As your travel concierge, we have a professional responsibility to recommend the purchase of travel protection to protect both you and your vacation.

Travel insurance can minimize the considerable financial risks of traveling: accidents, illness, missed flights, canceled tours, lost baggage, theft, terrorism, travel-company bankruptcies, emergency evacuation, and getting your body home if you die.

Each traveler's potential loss varies, depending on how much of your trip is prepaid, the refundability of the air ticket you purchased, your state of health, the value of your luggage, where you're traveling, the financial health of your tour company and airline, and what coverage you already have (through your medical insurance, homeowners or renters insurance, and/or credit card).

You are encouraged to contact your insurance provider and/or visit the website "Insure My Trip" to  determine the best coverage for your needs:

I often travel solo throughout Paris and have never felt unsafe. However, it’s important to keep a big city mentality in mind with valuables. Here are my suggested reference materials for passport, visa, health requirements as well as travel advisories:

Sometimes, things happen and plans need to change. If you register but then you can't make it because you’re dealing with a serious illness/medical crisis, we can give you a refund (minus the initial deposit) OR switch you into another retreat that's happening later.
However, if you’re canceling for any other reason ("I changed my mind," "I forgot to book my flight," "I feel too nervous to show up," "I didn’t coordinate childcare," "My spouse/;over/sibling/frined/colleague is upset because he/she can’t come," etc.) you will not receive a refund.
This is a firm policy. Please purchase mindfully and honor the commitment you've made. Thank you!
To join the retreat you must have travel insurance. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance may pay for some or all cancellation fees.
With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.

  • “Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Rejuvenation Retreat, including postponing or rescheduling. “You” refers to the guest booking the Rejuvenation Retreat. “We” refers to Kadena Tate Intl and Paris, Soul and Beyond, the tour operator.
  • It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.
Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.
  • Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply.

Fees are determined by the following schedule:
    • If you cancel more than 90 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat.
    • If you cancel 60 – 89 days before your retreat start date, 75% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 25% of the price of your retreat.
    • If you cancel 31 – 59 days before your retreat start date, 40% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 60% of the price of your retreat.
    • If you cancel 30 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.
    • Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Participant Agreement form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to retreat start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.
